Summer has arrived and there is no better time to visit the Michigan Legacy Art Park. In partnership with Cherryland member Crystal Mountain, the Art Park is an outdoor art and event space located on a 30-acre preserve in Benzie County.

The Art Park welcomes seven new sculptures this year. They were installed at the entrance to the park and will be on loan from various artists for two years.

The Art Park will host three artists in residence this summer. Nancy McKay will be presenting interpretive programs for visitors of all ages. John DeHoog and Brian Nelson, art professors at Eastern Michigan University, will be creating a new piece of art during their residence.

Music lovers will enjoy the return of the Summer Sounds outdoor concert series. With the help of Art Park sponsors, the series has been expanded to seven shows from July 1 to August 13.
