Cherryland Members Awarded Scholarships

Three high school seniors and two adult learners were awarded 2019 Cherryland Electric Cooperative scholarships. The three high school scholarships are worth $4,000 each—$1,000 per year for four years. The adult scholarships are a one-time award of $1,000 each.

81st Annual Meeting Is June 20

Cherryland’s 81st Annual Meeting will take place Thursday, June 20 at Incredible Mo’s in Grawn. Join us for an evening of food, fun and information.

Cherryland Cares Supports Local Nonprofits

Cherryland Cares distributes funds to local nonprofit organizations in need of financial support. The funds distributed by Cherryland Cares are a result of members electing to round up their monthly bills to the nearest dollar. Members can contribute to the Cherryland Cares fund by calling 231-486-9200, signing up through SmartHub, or sending an email to [email protected].

Members May Give Input At Monthly Board Meeting

The board of directors at Cherryland is offering an opportunity for members to provide direct input to the board on Monday, June 17, at 9 a.m. at the cooperative office in Grawn.

Members are asked to come to the lobby and request to speak to the board. Members are asked to keep their comments to five minutes. Member attendance at the board meeting is allowed for the public input portion of the meeting only.

Cherryland Office Closed Independence Day

The Cherryland office will be closed Thursday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. Normal business hours will resume Friday, July 5.
